'The Fisherman's Rebirth'

This piece is the love-child of two contrasting poems I wrote surrounding the battles of single-life. An exploration of the shift in my own mentality towards dating over the last few years.

From the starving fisherman who continued to come up empty handed despite there being "plenty more fish in the sea",

to "the death of each man is my own rebirth". 

It is the softness, realising there is no failure in a "failed relationship", only growth and another rebirth.
